After reading this it clear that a large number of "artist statements" for books and gallery exhibitions, written in the last 75 years, have actually been generated by chatgpt 🤣

ChatGPT is soulless and you do a superb job at expressing how. But damn it is not bad at making up shit. Its comments sound a lot like the last time I paid LensCulture for judges’ comments on my submission. 🤣

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with AI over the next few years. I think if we can sort out the energy use issues, and give content creaters an opt out for its plagiarism, it will be a net positive.

The biggest issue with it is the dishonest human element. Which exists just the same yesteryear with photoshop and even before that too.

It would be good if an image or content created or modified with AI had something that couldn't be removed embedded in the code so others can look for its absence to confirm authenticity. Interesting times ahead.
